We are pleased to announce details of our Christmas/New Year competition in conjunction with Tom at Gymtoto. As we approach the New Year we will see the traditional move towards gym membership only for the vast majority of new members to fall by the wayside by the end of February. The main reason many people fall by the wayside is simply because they have no focus, no training programme and no nutrition plan. However, we can help!
How to enter the competition
All you need to do is join as a member and visit the competition thread at:-
Then you simply post your fitness aims for 2018 and this will ensure that you will receive notification of the Christmas Eve fitness related question. Simply post your answer to the question and all of those members with the correct answer will go into the “hat” and the winner will be chosen at random on New Year’s Eve. The competition will close at midnight on 31st December 2017 as we all look forward to the next 12 months.

As we touched on above, the main reason why so many people fall by the wayside despite improving their fitness regime in the New Year is because they lack focus. So, what will your personal training programme and nutrition plan do for you?
Personal training program
This plan will be personalised to your age, body shape, targets and your location. Yes, if you require a training programme for the gym then Tom will put one together but you can also request a program that you can do at home. The personal training programme will give you focus, routine and ultimately it will improve your general fitness and also any specific areas where you may have problems.
Many of us forget that training and nutrition go hand-in-hand and it is only when carried out together that they benefit each other. If you are training then you need to refuel properly and a nutritional diet will do this. There are also long-term benefits to having a nutritionally balanced diet which can give you more energy through the day and even help you sleep at night. The vast majority of us underestimate the power of diet which when put together with a focused and personalised training plan is like fitness dynamite.
