Was my doctor correct in saying this?

Today I had to take of my t-shirt to get some tests done. She noticed my body (muscular for my age) and said I would like you to stop weight lifting immeaditaly. ( I have heard a million retards give a million retarded reasons why I should stop but this one actually made sense ). She said "When lifting heavy weights it compresses your bones under all that weight forcing them to fuse faster to adjust to the situation their put in". She continued to say you can do certain weighted exercises for e.g pull ups.. I'm only 15 and 5ft 8 so should I stop until I'm 18 or so but continue eating the diet I'm on (clean bulking) and do the certain excises that wont compress my bones?. Rather be 160lbs at 5ft 10 or 11" than 160lbs like I am now at 5ft 8.

Complete and utter BS. Ask her to show you one study confirming this. I'll tell you right now, one does not exist. Keep training OP.

What? Your bones are gonna fuse together in the 1 hour or hour and half that you are lifting weights? That sounds very stupid but im not for sure sounds like bs..

Keep lifting, it doesn't affect growth. For that to happen, lifting weights would have to suppress your pituitary gland hormones (which make you grow). Height is completely genetic and hormonal. If you go ****ing around with hormones you might stop growing, but you won't stop growing from weight lifting alone.

Just speaking of hormones during the workout doesnt your testosterone levels peak and afterwards drop extremely low? would that have any effect? Im not sure im just repeating what I learnt of you guys on here

I've actually grown while working out, I used to be 5,5 now im 6 foot. I eat a ton of food, and the more food you eat, the bigger you will grow, as they say..
