      Hey,

after I work out my muscles are sore for way too long, this has been since I started cut (I'm still intaking enough protein). Even my bicep gets sore, that never happened.

the soreness lasts for about 5-7 days for legs, tricep chest 4-6 days, back 3-5 days...

how in the earth would i pull the 'twice per week muscle group' split? (doing a 4-5 day once a week split)

Train more frequently and you won't get sore.

Well sounds like your not getting enough nutrition. Maybe you're on a too big deficit?

Anyway, less volume -> less tearing.

      Like I said I'm training 4-5 days a week.
The too big deficit thing MIGHT be true as I'm not counting calories.
      Sleeping 8+ hours daily.
Taking 90g of whey each day (3 scoops)

It is because you train everything once a week.

Since DOMS and how they "work" aren't greatly understood, I don't think anyone in this thread can give you much insight OP.

If you have changed diet/supplements/workout/added weight, intensity or volume to your routine you could experience increased DOMS, and possibly a lot of other things that we don't understand yet.
