I'm 19 years old and I've been weight lifting for about 1 year and 4 months. I weigh 150lbs and my bench is 215lbsx2. When I first started lifting my 1RM was 115lbs I believe. For the first 10 months of me weight lifting I didn't take any supplements or change m diet to accommodate my lifting.

You should be able to get from a low bench to atleast a 2 plate in a year.

No one seems to know how to read the OP. I weigh 150lbs and my bench is almost 225lbs. That's 1.5x my own weight. Not to mention how I did say I didn't use any supplements in my first 10 months.

Also, when you first start of lifting by yourself, it does take a while to get down all the lifts and get a good routine going. I didn't supply that information in my OP, but I thtought it was a given. Maybe it would be easier if I started lifting with people who knew what they were doing right off the bat, but that's not the case here.

1.5 BW at 150 is not impressive

1.5x is respectable at any weight.

Thanks man. Obviously it's not the best but still pretty good. Apparently these guys think if it's anything but THE BEST, then it's not that good.
