      wtf? pullups almost as easy as chinups?

      you know that type of pull up where your fists are facing each other??? is that harder or easier to do than pullups or chin ups? because i'm working on being able to do pullups and i heard that chin ups are easier so i might start with them, but the assisted pull up bar only has the normal pullups and the one i described.

      How do I test the grip strength that relates to chinups to see if it is a possible weakness?

      Are you referring to a neutral grip? Like palms facing each other? If so I find that they are WAY EASIER than pull ups...not sure on chin ups because I don't do them that much

      Neutral grip would be a little harder than chinups but still easier than pullups.

      Don't you have that backwards?

      Pull ups (generally a wider grip than chin ups, palms facing away from you) = Lats

      Chin ups (closer grip then pull ups and palms facing you) = Biceps

      Am I missing something?
