i keep a piece of paper folded up in my wallet and write down what i eat. After a few weeks most stuff you eat on a reg basis sink in to memory and there is very little to look up. Super easy and low tech. Works for me.

I use myfitnesspal because of the phone app but i used to use an excel which was really accurate as you had to manly enter all of the individual foods and their macros into the input list...so that you could then add it into the spreadsheet...was long but very effective!

Reading nutrition labels, and using my calculator is it that hard? Or if I feel lazy I'll just go on myfitnesspal

never said it was hard bro. just looking for the most practical way of getting the job done. Myfitnesspal.com looks like a really good site, thanks everyone for recommending.

i don't have a smartphone so I can't do it directly, but I guess the plan for now is to just write down what i eat in my cell phone's crappy notepad and then record it to myfitnesspal at the end of the day...but I guess that kind of ruins the purpose because it's best to know where your macros are at in real time.

Yeah man, just open your note pad.txt on your pc and plan
check the nutrition label on the food products
Just make sure get all those grams of protein per lb of body weight, and get enough fats. Rest of the calories remaining can be what ever you want as carbs is just an energy source
