your 15 , and you squat stats are fine , dont get over the top and try to rush to increase the weights. I had a friend who went to snap city because he tries too hard to increase the weights, try lowering the weight and squat all the way down(ass to grass) if that doesnt work

Could also be a muscle weakness/imbalance. Work on your abductors.(most likely)

dude just start with weights where you can hit the 10-12 rep range with good form and progressively add weight as you get stronger. Dont bother attempting to max out at 5 reps for 3 sets. Seems silly to me.

Thanks. I was doing 5 sets and increased to 45 and a 10 on each side and then tried 185. I could do 2 without my brothers spot, and my max is 225. Im also my because kids WAY smaller than me are doing 300 pounds and I'm barely hitting 225. Im of the weakest for squats and decent at the other lifts

Yah man the first thing you gotta learn is not to worry about what other kids are doing. A lot of them like to put on huge weight and do half or quarter squats to look big. I saw a girl powerlifter squatting more than me. It was inspiring if anything.

Don't worry I'm 15 and a little taller (5'11) and about 157, my squats similar like 185x5 and 225x3. Maybe squat twice a week. One time back squat the other front squat. It'll help balance different stabilizing muscles, and personally I find it easier To get deeper on front squat.

Your squat will get better with time. Work on some flexibility and abductors (flexors too) GL
