      Shoulders: are lateral raises important?

      I do bent over lat raises for rear delts, and front raises/military press for side delts.

      Shoulders: are lateral raises important?

      I find lateral raises are the best for giving me that width, gives your shoulders that rounded capped look. It's my second favourite exercise for the shoulders after db shoulder presses.

      I may be wrong but it's pretty much the same movement so I don't see how it would.

      Front raises will target mainly your front delt as will presses
