Rate this routine gym PT gave me/10 Not exactly true, but not exactly false. In all honesty, I've made my greatest gains on PHAT. Weight has gone up, endurance has gone up, and strength has gone up. On strict strength routines or strict hypertrophy routines, I make okay gains with one factor and great gains with the other. If you really want to gain weight and strength, you need to be incorporating both methods of training into your routine (strength [lower reps, higher weight] and hypertrophy [higher reps, lowER weights]). You'll be hard pressed to find any professional bodybuilder who can't deadlift and squat 400+ and bench 300+
