my pea protein works out around $35-45/kg for isolate and flavoured too Peanuts are 27% protein too dont forget very cheap source of protein! And 1 dozen eggs is say $3 for cage for 75g protein per dozen approx...

ive also been buying tinned tuna in olive oil 140g tuna $2 on special and pink salmon 200g tin 140g salmon for 2.50 very good value 30-35g protein per can for on the go and no carb!

Zac i pay $20 or $30 per kg non flavoured everything so no sweeteners

Fuck caged eggs!! I pay $6 per dozen from the organic markets instead. Still cheap imo

You can get unsweetened whey from bulk nutrients and a few other suppliers on eBay. I've used a mob called "Real Nutrition" cheap too.
Wasn't much too it, not horrible at all, just boring.
Whey is good but I found the caesine was too much to handle without any additives.

yeah ive bought from real nutrition and couple others. Used to get 5kg wpc for $75 from memory or 3kg WPI from same mob. However pea protein digests much better and causes less of an insulin spike then whey- so apartt from post workout, pea protein may be the smarter one to take in between or as extra protein. I got 6kg (2 choc ,2 vanilla and 2 straw) P.P.I. sitting on my deep freezer 82% protein 0.7% carbs!! Good stuff with water or A2 milk if you still have dairy (or want the extra 200cals for 300mls millk etc) for anyone. And yeah cage eggs do suck,if ive been stuck lately- i'll still eat em, but not ideal! Im not 'quite' as anal as i used to be, but still training real hard

If you're worried about diabetes, sucralose is completely safe for diabetics as it does not affect your insulin levels (Or so I've read).

Although sucralose is artificial there have been no negative side effects found (Except at extreme doses, where some rats experienced a 50% loss in good bacteria in their intestinal tract, however this has not been found to occur in humans).

And also no long term studies done as yet.

No health freaks I know consume anything artificial, sweeteners, flavours or preservatives.

IMO just sweeten it with whole foods.
