      You should focus on getting the majority of your calories from micronutrient dense foods. I wouldn't worry about sodium and I'd say that

      Shakes can only do so much. Actual food can do much better. And none of that processed stuff.

      Actually, yes. That's where the rest of my calories for the day came from.

      Because people that usually do IIFYM don't think about it's effects on the body, not just composition

      If you eat one meal high in sodium all of a sudden, your blood pressure will go up and you will retain water. If you consistently eat a lot of sodium every day, your body will adapt and you won't have blood pressure or water retention problems.

      You have two options - either eat no sodium ever and be anal about tracking it or consistently eat a lot of sodium. The results will be the same.
