      Evening all

I quit alcohol four months ago, smoking 3 months ago and joined a gym on the 28th May.

I've always wanted to gain some weight and fill out! I started this change in my life weighing 133lbs at 5ft 7"!!!!! now I'm up to 148lbs and I'm starting to see results of the gym work.

I'm currently doing the following on Cybex Machines and I go Mon, Tues and Friday with out fail:-

      3 x 10 chest press
      2 x 10 pec deck
      3 x 10 lat pull down
      2 x 10 seated row
      3 x 10 overhead press
      2 x 10 Bicep curl
      2 x 10 tri pull down
      3 x 15 leg press

I'm currently trying to get down as many calories as I can and therefore constantly shoving food down and also drinking Complan just to get extra calories.

I'm now looking at getting one of the many supplements and think the PHD - SYNERGY ISO 7 would suit me? There are so many different types its a bit confusing.

Thats a brief intro about me!

      Thanks

      Bob

Congrats on changing things around and making good progress already... and yes this is a good forum for you to be on!

The question on supp's or training is a biggie, and people will give you a million different answers... I'd suggest use this thread as your welcome thread to get to know people, and also to start subject specific threads in the supp's, advanced bodybuilding or diet sections... that way you are more likely to get greater detail from more people in the replies.

Welcome to UKM btw, mostly a friendly bunch here

      Welcome mate.

Congrats on the improvements do far well done.

One piece of feedback would be to drop the use of machines as the core of your workout and try free weights. Heavy compounds will fill you out a lot more as a lot more muscles are used in the movements.

Have a look in the training section on here for a 3 day split or even 5 x 5 workout.
