      whats your point?

you couldve made better progress if you had had 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Simply if I dont eat my optimal amount of protein. i wont grow. Or it'll be very little. How bout' you do a little experiment by eating 20 grams of protein a day and tell me how yer bulk goes. kay?

      Didnt read the entire post.

But 0.8grams/lb is a good number to have in terms of bodybuilding.

      Source:

      http://www.jssm.org/vol3/n3/2/v3n3-2pdf.pdf

The research says: ”As a result, recommendations for strength/power athletes’ protein intake are generally suggested to be between 1.4 - 1.8 g/kg/day” (0.64-0.82g/lb/day)
Please keep in mind there is NO adverse effects from high protein diet, and these recommendations are for the average bodybuilder.

I could have made better progress than 7 lbs of pure muscle in three months? I doubt it ..
