  • How is this upper/lower routine?

      Gonna start my cut monday and want to start a new routine, would also like to use this routine when i get back on my bulk

      Edit:

      Upper A-

      BB Bench 3x5
      Pendlay Rows 3x5
      Rack Lockouts 3x5
      BB Shrugs 3x5
      Hammer curls 3x5
      Db shoulder press 3x8

      Lower A-

      Squat 3x5
      Zercher squat 3x5
      Hack squat 3x5
      Leg press 3x5
      SLDL 3x5

      Upper B-

      Deadlift 4x3
      Military press 3x5
      CGBP 3x5
      Weighted pullups 3x6
      Strict Curls 3x8
      Db press 3x8

      Lower B-

      Box squats 3x5
      Leg extensions 3x5
      Front squats 3x5
      Leg curls 3x5
      BB lunges 3x5
      Calves 3x8

      Zercher squats? Get rid of those. Do split squats instead. its an athletic movement, and works the posterior chain as well as the quads.

      How is this upper/lower routine?

      only reason i like them is i can do ton more weight with zercher squats then with front squats, and i can get alot lower without any pain in my groin

      shoulder pressing just once a week? also no chest movement on the second upper day?

      Edit. calves??

      Seems pretty low volume for my liking. I prefer higher volume upper/lower because if volume is low might as well do a full body routine three days a week. Just my opinion.

      Should i add DB shoulder presses on Upper A and DB press on upper B?
