Today is my birthday. Not looking for Happy birthdays here, just wanted to vent a little bit. I woke up in a good mood as me and the family were supposed to go downtown tonight for the annual Cruise Night our city has which is full of classic cars. The downtown area is packed full of people and food carts and it's a wonderful damn time. It's been raining all damn day and it's not supposed to let up at all. I'm waiting for the official word that is has been canceled but that's a given at this point. It sucks too because it was rained out last year also. Cruise Night brings in major bucks for the city and is a major attraction bringing in people from all over. The car show is tomorrow so just hoping the weather will cooperate for that. And then just a little over an hour ago I was told my cousin was killed in a car accident. I only met the kid a couple of times but he was a good guy.

Horrible day I have no intention of ruining the day, just sucks is all. I love Cruise Night and I've had this night on my birthday for 39 years, so it blows when it's canceled. And although I didn't know my cousin that well (he's lived in Kansas his entire life) it broke my heart listening to my Aunt cry on the phone. Thanks for the birthday wish, LBM.
