The reason why I say it puts less tension on the front delts is because you're locked in to that range of motion where you're going straight up and straight down. Can't get that extra squeeze at the end.

A heavy push press is going to overload the front delt the same as or more than a dumbbell press. I don't see why being locked into a range of motion or not being able to get a 'squeeze' (whatever that means) affects this.

True, but that can be said for anything. Squats are also a worthless exercise if you only do quarter squats.

i found that barbell hurt my wrists. and i guess i like dumbell much more as i think my form is easier to determine and it eliminates the use of one side more i do tr and change every so often.

Just pointing out that you cannot argue that DB presses > BB presses because of the range of motion if you don't actually USE the range of motion. I watched your upper training vid and you cut your presses short a few inches away from the shoulder, which is actually a smaller ROM than most people have while BB pressing.

Just don't really have a spotter for barbell, plus dumbbells feel more comfortable and will make you stronger in your barbell Presses

My form wasn't perfect. Doesn't mean that there's aren't more benefits if you do use perfect form. But regardless of that, do you agree that there is a better range of motion with dumbbell presses than with barbell presses?
