Don't talk to cops That's not my point, so please don't try and make it my point. How many times have you been a black man in NYC? How about an Arab? Muslim? So you're saying that you're a white man who lives in Texas. Can't say I'm surprised you've never been mistreated by police. The purpose of this video is to have a college professor who used to be a criminal defense attorney explain to a class the importance of our rights as citizens, even in the face of law enforcement. I would ask that you take the time to watch it before making any comments that have nothing to do with the purpose of it.
Don't talk to cops Whoa there, I live in a predominately Hispanic community, where most of the law enforcement are Hispanic. Some of these officers, have plenty of beef with 'white' people.
Don't talk to cops So why are you against a former lawyer/now college professor teaching basic rights in the face of law enforcement as a US Citizen to a class?
Don't talk to cops I am not going to watch. I have never had any major beef with law enforcement (not enough to lose sleep over), because I have always tried to abide by the law. I'm out.
Don't talk to cops Ever notice that "held to a higher standard" is usually defined by the self interests of the person making that statement?
