      Apparently everyone on these forums thinks it's imperative to do a dead-lift as a beginner.
      I decided to make a thread on why NOT to do a dead-lift as a beginner & anyone who disagree's can comment here.
      1) It's dangerous, bad form = snapped your back.
      2) Beginners don't know what the **** they're doing, there's countless variations of similar exercises (e.g. sldl)
      3) On a push-pull routine you don't need to work legs on a back day, and you don't need to work back on a leg day.
      4) People are going to continue trying to get the form right (even after failing so many times) which hurts them more and more.
      5) People's ego causes them to put too much weight on the damn bar, then they arch their back, and snap.
      6) You can get a great back w/o dead lifts.

      If you agree that beginners should avoid, add reasons. Doubt anyone's on my side.

      To be honest i pretty much agree with all his points. Just not his conclusion.

      Deadlifting can be great for beginners, provided they aren't retards who push too far with bad form

      BRB gonna go blog it out "someone made fun of me bc I use tumblr"
      this. They shouldn't continue doing something with bad form. Imo it's better to avoid it as a beginner because it's just hard to get the form right. Because truthfully even lifting the bar with bad form can hurt your spine.
