You havent said what system (OS) you have, but it is safe to say it is a 'windows something-or-other'...

      Id like you to consider:

      Removing Kap-whatever-it is,
      and
go to microsoft.com and get their Security Essentials,
      install that,
      give it time to update,
      and feel better about things.

It likely would not hurt for you to have more RAM (random-access-memory) too...
RIGHT-CLICK on 'My Computer' on your desktop (presuming there is one),
and if you are running XP or something older, it will 'pretty-much-immediately' show you how much RAM your machine has...
IF it only has 256MB you should AT MINIMUM, double it.
I would suggest that you get AS MUCH as it will hold, dependent upon its age/RAM design, etc.

Simply put, your AV is being a resource hog, and your system has finally said 'enough'!

      Hope that helps!

Vista is a memory hog, I would at least bumb up the ram 2 GB, or even better buy 2 sticks of 2GB

Good luck with that piece of carp!

This is the type of system that would benefit from a Ubuntu installation. Linux tends to require fewer resources so it runs better, and is less vulnerable to virus/trojan attacks, much, much less vulnerable.

You could double your ram to 2gb per the specs. This would help, on the other hand when you are in a thread loaded with animated gifs your Celeron will hold you back.

      My good advice: Load Ubuntu
My great advice: Buy a Mac
