      one more thing. my workouts should be what? low weight/high reps or high weight/low reps?

      Go with light- medium weight high reps to train your endurance
      One thing is lifting weight won't increase much in your punching power although as going from 125lb-140 lb you will definitely be more muscular. Not many boxers lift weight since muscles are developed upon the way that they are built. They need reflex, explosive power along with speed and the strength that you use to lift weight won't ever be fully used in the ring
