      What do you guys thinks?

because I followed the program and you only need to do low reps that doesnt make sense, because if you do 12 reps you get better results.

You can get size off low reps. Its called eating. Stop being a puss and squat.

Its a beginner program. Gotta get strong to get big.

the main problem with SS is the lack of volume and the fact it asks you to squat :S You dont need to train legs if you do cardio/running. Just train high volume on your chest shoulders and Biceps and youll find the results much more pleasing.

I made my case why I advocate that type of training for beginners.

I'm not telling people to make a life long committment to strength training. I am telling them to put aside 4-6 months to get some reasonable strength which can then be channeled into a split, upper/lower etc much more efficiently.

Learn maximum total body recruitment, apply it to other ****.

If you don't wanna do it, do whatever the **** you wanna do.

It's a powerlifting routine. For a beiginner, mass gains will be just as good as a hypertrophy routine. It's good for beginners because you learn how to do all the compounds properly. ( assuming you read the book)

it's not a powerlifting routine. A powerlifting routine implies that it's getting you ready to compete in powerlifting.

A beginner will grow doing anything. I suggest that the beginner who is squatting 3 plates, benching 2, pulling 4 in under a year of training is going to be able to leg press, db press, bicep curl and bro split a lot more weight and thus achieve a lot more gains than his counterpart starting on the split.
