      if you've been seeing consistent improvement keep on it and make sure you eat enough to fuel yourself for it. IF you have enough time/energy for these athlete type workouts with 100 sets keep on it...if you're hovering around a 135 lb bench and not seeing little to no progress less is more.

      I try to keep my workouts at about 16-20sets, anything more then that im just too drained and i cant use as heavy as weights as i normal can.

      They have been good but always can be much better. As I said above, I don't think I'm eating in a surplus of calories in order to bulk up and gain muscle.

      The amount of benefit you get starts to level off around 4-6 sets

      There is no benefit to doing 15 sets over doing 7-8, or even fewer sets.

      Up the intensity in my opinion. If you can do 18 sets of bicep curls even with different exercises then you are not using heavy enough weight to stimulate growth.

      Intensity and Progression > High Volume

      if you see good results then id say that your doing it right and dont change anything intill you stop seeing good results

      But 4-6 sets TOTAL for a body part?! Doesn't seem right at all...

      This is a logical fallacy. I can sleep 4 hours a night and get 'good results'. That doesn't mean I wouldn't get better results if I slept 8 hours a night.

      Yes, 4-6 sets total. After that you stop seeing additional benefit.

      4-6 heavy sets where you keep adding weight to the exercise each session will stimulate more growth than doing 18 sets. you will not add weight to the exercises doing 18 sets because you will be fatiguing the hell out of you muscles not stimulating them with intensity and progression as i said before.
