      Pull downs vs pull ups which do you prefer and why?

      Pull ups. I tend not to cheat on them so I think they're more effective.

      I prefer doing pull ups because I get a much better pump when doing them. IMO, nothing works better for back than them.

      I do a mixture of both, but i prefer pullups.

      Pullups although I've recently added BTN pulldowns too.

      My back didn't really grow until I started doing pullups.

      Pull ups for sure, though I do both. I warm up with less than body weight pull downs.

      I prefer pull-ups. Seems to work my shoulders, biceps, upper back and grip better. Sorry not a fancy response, don't feel good.

      I preferred Pull Ups before my shoulder injury but for now I have to settle for Pull Downs.
