      Arms seem to be one of those areas where people can train consistently without seeing much visible progress.

      Was there one change that finally made a difference for you - more weekly sets, heavier compound lifts, better exercise form, training biceps and triceps more frequently, or simply eating more?

      I’ve also wondered whether people spend too much time changing exercises instead of progressing with a smaller selection. Cable pushdowns, overhead extensions, curls and close-grip pressing might not be exciting, but they appear in most successful arm routines for a reason.

      What produced the clearest improvement in your own arms, and how long did it take before you noticed it?

      To me, an arm muscle doesn't work the same way a large leg or glute muscle does. So, for the arm, higher repetitions are more important than progressive overload though that remains important, too
