Training priorities often change with age. When people first start out, the main goal can be lifting as much weight as possible or changing their appearance quickly. Later on, staying mobile, avoiding injuries and maintaining strength may become equally important.

For those training in their late thirties, forties, fifties or beyond, what has become more important to you?

Have you changed your warm-up, exercise selection, training frequency or approach to recovery? It would be interesting to hear which changes have helped people continue training consistently without feeling they have to take it too easy.
