      Testosterone and dopamine are both neurotransmitters that influence motivation, reward, and decision-making. Testosterone can increase dopamine release, which can make rewards more appealing and motivating
      Exercise acts as a natural mood booster by significantly increasing dopamine levels in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter crucial for motivation, pleasure, and reward. When we engage in physical activity, our brains release dopamine, creating a sense of accomplishment and well-being. This surge of dopamine can help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety by improving overall mood and reducing feelings of fatigue and apathy.

      Furthermore, regular exercise can enhance the brain's sensitivity to dopamine. This means that even small activities become more rewarding, leading to increased motivation and a greater sense of enjoyment in daily life. By consistently incorporating physical activity into our routines, we can cultivate a positive feedback loop where exercise boosts dopamine, leading to improved mood, which in turn motivates us to continue exercising.       I originally started training because I wanted to change how I looked.

      These days I'd honestly say I value what it does for my head even more.

      If I've had a stressful day, a decent workout usually clears it far better than sitting on the sofa scrolling through my phone.

      I wonder how many people still train mainly for appearance compared with those who now do it because it simply makes them feel better.
