Went to benidorm with my dad last september, had to go to court case there. Was surprised we had a good time. Tapas every lunch in old town, 1 euro for tapas and a half can't go wrong. Elsewhere in spain not so sure as times are hard further south but benidorm is still busy.

If it's £1000 each what about a week in a 5 star all inclusive somewhere in the carribean. I went to mexico in march and it was fantastic.
