Did you cook with the sauce or pour it on afterwards? I find cooking with it, or cooking with the marinade tastes as close as you're gonna get. Don't get me wrong, I'd take a Nandos anyday, but it's too bloody expensive for that

well it depends if you buy cooking baste then you cook in it, if you buy cooking souse -you pour on chicken once cooked, but nandos chicken delivered to nandos in marinated bags, recipe unknown that makes exceptional taste i believe so those souse dont do a thing its not cheap agree but its very nice

Nando's always been a bit and miss though I agree with a poster above, the quality of the chicken you receive seems to improve almost magically with the more money you spend lol.
