      Injected yesterday morning, my usual area - top of quad on my right thigh. Went in no problem and injected ok but when withdrawing the needle all I can think is I touch a nerve - it was like the feeling you get when you hit your funny bone in your elbow but in my thigh.

      It's a little sore today but not too bad. This was my 8th shot in this area and first time experiencing this - guess just one of those things?

      Nerves in quads?

      You may have went in close to a nerve. you would certainly know about it, if you had hit it. I've had my muscles spasm, from getting close to a nerve, but hitting and you would be stuck to the ceiling.
      The pain is meant to be excruciating.

      Trust me it is painful.

      Hit a nerve in my glute (my misses was doing it) she must have gone too close to the middle (haha). Yeah, **** me.. it hurt like ****, everything spasmed and thrusted into the bed

      Well I'm still alive! It was just a very weird pain/sensation, puts me off doing it next weekend !

      Try jabbing on the outer side of quad.
