i gave some blood other day as needed to find blood group for paras would it be tested for steroids as im thinking of doing more often. many thanks

Your are giving blood to the NHS right? As in for their blood banks to use for people in case of an emergency?

Mate, you cannot give blood if you have ever used AAS.

Even when a woman gives blood, if they have had sexual contact with anyone who's used AAS then they cannot give blood either.

i thought that anyone who had ever injected anything into themselves was not allowed to give blood under any circumstances.

You should have been asked a load of questions prior to being 'ok'ed' for giving... These questions would have flitered you out if you had answered correctly... I.e. the are you taking any drugs/medicines prescribed or non prescribed... The pathogens and make up of boods can be altered severly with use of any drug and its a huge no no.

You obviously lied during this process.. i.e. the injecting part..... i.e. the using non prescribed meds (AAS)

They take a sample of your blood anyway before you are allowed to goahead and donate and im sure its screened for a few obvious changes

unfortunately mate when i went for arky interview it was there idea to find out my blood type. after doing so opened my eyes that maybe i would like to give blood thanks for everyones input
