Yeah..I'll count more closely then. I count online, the only thing I'm ever unsure about is chicken (I eat chicken thighs with a bone), and I always round up and I've gone as far as to weigh it before eating and then weigh the bones left over and subtract.

lol hell, I don't know.

I just know a 8oz steak has X number of calories in it when it's weighed raw.

When it's cooked, it shrinks down to a 6 oz steak, but still basically has the same amount of calories.

So you weigh it raw, count X calories, cook it and eat the little bastard.

If you are absolutely hell bent on following an extreme diet, then I would suggest looking at Lyle McDonald's Rapid Fat Loss book (bodyrecomposition dot com). It's a modified PSMD, which includes advice on how to phase off the diet.

Having said that, I still agree with the other posters that a slow, steady diet, with exercise is the best way to go. Look at the stickies on nutrition, get lots of protein (erring on the side of too much rather than too little) - it will help you keep lean body mass, and will also keep you fuller than carbs.
