Does inhibiting DHT cause muscle/strength loss?

To start with, I'm natty (for now) and using finesteride..0.5mg EoD. Think it has helped prevent more hair from falling out. Only side effects I have is slight libido loss and gyno flare up (had since puberty. Taking Arimidex to balance them out again.

My question is if finesteride will have an affect on my strength/muscle gain due to DHT being suppressed. I've heard mixed views on it like everything to do with fin tbh.

I very much doubt it will have any noticeable impact on any muscle gains. strength wise I am unsure of.

Iv been on 1mg for a year now last 9 weeks bn on 2mg per day as on cycle at min and cant say iv noticed any effects on strength gains etc.. Only sides are same as u mentined about libido but the test soon sorted that out ;-))

I think because you are on cycle it would negate any strength loss if there was any to begin with.

I have not taken finestirde due to wondering what effects it had on training.

Also the side effects as prostate cancer runs in family so have avoided it looks like shaved head soon

Taking adex natty can't be too good for you mate, I take it that it's all self prescribed?

Yeah mate, self prescribed only started the adex natty to combat nipple soreness from fin.

Ive only been on cycle for 9 weeks tho and bn on fina for a year, even natty i never noticed any effects on strength or gains is wat i meant mate sorry ;-))

Thought so!...I personally wouldn't be taking adex mate, you'll have normal estrogen levels so taking adex will take levels below normal

You need estrogen for immune system, also will affect libido negatively. I would of opted for nolva for the nipple sensitivity. Then again I wouldn't be taking any of these meds natty, if you're prone to MPB it's going to happen regardless, just delaying the inevitable

I'd rather lose a bit of hair than grow a pair of tits TBH, are you really losing it that bad to put yourself through this?
