      my take is - when you are a young novice with loads of developement in you - its better to prepare your self as you would lears the substance behind the practices and lets be honest...its going to be a novice show or 2 to test the waters (realistically expecting to walk away with cups after a hanful of months training is a bit unrealistc)

      as one advances - i think a good prep coach with a proven track record is a good call to tweak a body that is nearing the peak of its developement and needs fresh ideas throwing at it.

      just my tuppence worth

      like i have never done a prep and have the theory and diet practice to probably do okish but my body is fairly developed and if i do a show next year i will use a prep guy cause i just CBA with working, training, doing the food/diet AND having to think it all out lol
