      my vaillant ecotec boiler has been saying "call engineer" with a countdown for the last few days,

      landlord came out to have a look and said he'd sort it, anyway today was the zero day and it's turned itself off.

      I looked at the dates and it was last serviced exactly a year ago, so it's obviously demanding to be serviced but it's totally turned itself off, LL aint picking up and we have no hot water.

      I'm post-gym and smelly!

      Anyone know how to turn the cnuting thing back on!?

      not a clue lol, i'm no engineer. Can you trick it by resetting the date?

      Turn the boiler of at the switched spur. Leave it off for 10mins and i should reset the error message

      turn it off and the power source mate, see if that re sets it.
