What are GP's like when you admit to steroid use?

Hi i am thinking to go DR tomorrow to ask them about a small gyno lump i have in my left peck.

In your experience shall i just play dumb and say it came from know-where or should i admit to test use?

What are they like? I am worried they will just give me the cold shoulder and say that it's my problem as it's self induced etc

Always tell your GP the truth. When I was a drug user I never had any problems.

i would admit it if you want a proper diagnosis, i have told my gp in the past and he warned me of possible consequences of steroid use and strongly urged me to discontinue using them, it didn't effect how he treated me though....that i know of

Depends how much of a relationship you have with GP..
I only speak with two doctors, my GP - he looks like the Asian Dumbledoor, I could tell that man anything and he wouldn't be phased.. Just followed by a short pause and a perfect explaination of my problem and how his solution will fix it!
The second doctor I speak to is a **** buddy!

Both know about my steroid use and while they have said I shouldn't play around with my body in such ways, they don't say anymore negatives than that and just offer advice on how to keep things safe and working.

TLDR - Go for it.

Yeah but i know they will put a note on my medical records and i don't want that . What if i want medical or life insurance one day? I wont be able to get it .

my mate went and i told him to say he was using tamoxifen to rid it

and the doctor said it would only make it worse...

maybe its just the doctors round this way

tbh mate gp's are not like that i knolw a few people on here me included who are honest with their gp about using gear

IMPO if your going to use gear you should be honest with your doc as you should always have your health in mind and your doc cant help you if your not 100% honest with him, plus tbh your doc will try and give you a tlak etc but at end of the day its up to you and he will (if he is any good of a doc) try and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and body etc just be honest with him, also mate if you post pics on here i am sure some of the more experienced guys can help you out!

I was once told if you have life insurance and don't declare it , then they find it on your record it voids the insurance.

Not sure how true this is
