Anyone know if U can pay to have this done to get an accurate measurement of body fat. Would love to get it done and apart from tv Programmes about obese people I can't find anywhere which offers it. Ps im in Plymouth if that helps

body pod analysis is pretty much the bottom line in bf measurement

OP you can get calipers which measure you to within 1.1% of the pod

its quite an expense and length to go to really - and i doubt many of the pro's or top competing guys on here have had it done

Try writing to sports colleges or Universities, a few have them and can you you for research too.

I wouldnt waste my money on it - I used to be obsessed about what my bodyfat percentage was then one day it dawned on me..... I will never be 100% happy with my body as im a bodybuilder so as long as i can see changes when i look in the mirror thats all that matters.

Do a search of threads? Im sure someone here recently (last month or so) had a thread up with pics of themselves to guess their bodyfat and then went in a bodypod with readings? Cant remember the OP but it will be somewhere...
