Taking into account dominance of their particular sport, style, wow factor, how big that sport is, how much they earn and impact globally, who would you go for? I'd say it has to be Rory McIlroy (Golfer)-2 majors and he is only 23 years old. Top of world rankings. Just won on PGA tour again-back to back. Golf is a huge global sport and he must be one of the UK's top earners-potentially one of world's top earners in sport. If you like golf he is a very exciting player too! Can't see who else-Andy Murray is up there, but isn't a winner of major tournaments yet, or world number one, many find him a bit bland too! We don't have any world dominant footballers, cricketers, boxers, drivers. Anyone have a better suggestion?

But 5k and 10k don't have anywhere near the same appeal as football, cricket, tennis, golf etc. Wiggins would be in with a shout-still think McIlroy has far greater world appeal, dominance for years to come, earnings potential etc. Don't get me wrong, I do like Wiggins.
