  • What food items should I almost always have at home?

      DISCLAIMER: I have braces, so that means no nuts or seeds. No bagels or hard, fresh veggies (I can handle cooking the ones that need to be cooked).

      I'm in pretty good shape right now and I've been cutting for a week because of tendonitis in my wrist. Looking to bulk back up as well as eat better in general.

      So yeah, for someone trying to progressively increase strength and add lean mass, what are some generic (or not-so-generic) items I should always have in my house?

      PB
      Greek yogurt
      Cottage cheese
      Eggs
      Cheese
      Bread
      Pasta
      Ice cream
      Beans
      Fruits and veggies

      Bunch of other stuff I'm probably forgetting

      Talenti Gelato
      quinoa
      tuna/salmon/tilapia/cod
      STEAK
      milk

      Chicken breast
      Spinach
      Broccoli
      Carrots
      Zucchini
      Apples
      Blueberries

      And anything else you enjoy eating that you can fit into your macros.

      What food items should I almost always have at home?

      What kind of pasta? What kind of bread? What kind of eggs, fruits, veggies, cheese, etc.? Why are those preferable? What do I mix and match to make ideal meals?
