To the OP Low-carb is a choice. Not integral to weight loss in the slightest. I've cut on both a high and low carb diet before. I personally prefer low-carb, but that's only because a) If I eat breads or pasta it's hard to control my appetite. But if it works for you- more power to you. b) I feel better on low-carb. And I naturally want to eat less.
To the OP I always stick to keto. If I'm just getting back into it I don't carb up for 2-3 weeks. And I also only carb up when I need it.
To the OP I eat it all synergestically ( sorry if misspelled) and supposedly doing that it stops insulin from spiking, resulting in a controlled appetite. I can be very strict on myself, I just got it in my head "Food is Food" and maybe listen to some good music and I'm all good. So Low carb is practically worthless? Plus the fact eating low carb high protein, can cause the protein to be converted into insulin, meaning less amino acids to go towards holding back all lean muscle mass, so it sounds like to me the best is to eat a variety with a calorie deficit. And have you ever tried adding chromium to ur supplement stack? It does wonders for carb controlling!
To the OP I also stay away from keto because of how hard it is on the liver ( where ketones are produced). You only have one liver, and I'd prefer not to risk mine. Keto is a little overrated but it does WONDERS for food lovers, for sure!
To the OP I know and I agree with you. But when trying to get to single digit BF% your gonna need to at the very least up the cardio. Longer cardio sessions on lower carb diets can be a bit of a PIA. I've done the Anabolic diet several times and usually feel great until I start really hitting the cardio for longer periods and lifting not necessarily heavier, but at higher reps for sure. My wife knows when I hit the cardio for longer sessions and cut my carb intake.
