Something worth arguing about. When people compare compounds or doses across the board, they quote the number on the vial as if it were pure hormone. It is not. A good chunk of that mass is the ester attached to the molecule, the part that controls release speed and does absolutely nothing anabolic on its own.

The longer the ester, the heavier it is, meaning more of the labeled milligrams are dead weight. So the same figure on two different vials of the same hormone family can represent meaningfully different amounts of actual active compound, depending on the ester length. Compare a short ester to a long one purely by label number and the comparison is crooked from the start.

The funny part is how rarely this appears in dose discussions even among experienced people. Threads argue about what dose equals what dose using the printed label as if the chemistry did not exist.

Two questions. Did anyone here already account for ester weight when planning, and does the board think the standard dose comparisons floating around the internet are inflated or understated relative to true hormone content.
