      That initial " fear "

      bit sh1t at my gym for db press now im on 50s and there's no 55 its just straight jump to 60s bloody big jump that.

      i only have a big fear of blown my knee out every time i deadlift, not sure why but makes me abit edgy

      LOL I attempted a new PB on bench of 165kg after it was all racked up I thought holy **** that's a lot of weight. Got it off the rack lowered it down went to push and that feeling came of oh **** I am stuck and blind panic that follows. I closed my eyes and dug in and thought I gotta do this. The bar got well light, opened my eyes and about 4 guys literally were trying take the bar off from nowhere.

      All I can say is thank god as my spotter is only 78kg haha!!

      I get this on the squat rack- even having the bars there to catch it so make me very very twitchy.

      I get very nervous before a new pb attempt but only of failing and letting myself down not so much of injury but see your point
