      just basically after a list of stuff to eat to loose wieght low carbs and low fat

      It's about taking in less calories than you use.

      In theory you could loose weight by eating nothing but chips provided you were under your maintenance calories for the day.

      Why not do some research?

      Fat is vital in a diet. Regulates the hormones, is satiating...does NOT directly contribute to fat gain (unless overwater like everything else) etc

      You won't go far on low car and low fat diet. I can tell you that now.

      Agree, look at keto diet; High protein, high fat diet = fat loss

      The worst thing you can do with diet is start having a 'phobia' of food groups. I had a 'phobia' of carbs since everyone made out it makes you put weight on just looking at them, and being a former fatty I was very paranoid about getting there again. During this time I had the worst results in my life...#
      Now I actually eat carbs and not just the 'clean' ones and Im leaner than ever!
