      Was just going to start this myself. I think no.

      Where does it end? Springy legs for high jumpers? A strong mechanical arm for a monoplegic shot putter? A blind trap shooter with some kind of advanced target vision?

      It's not about being equal or not. It's about recognising they do have a disability that could lead to an advantage or disadvantage. And in order to have a level playing field you need to compete against similar people. Same principle as weight catagories in my opinion.

      I think he is at a disadvantage as think about how many muscles, ligaments and tendons he is missing that react in the running movement he has none of these below the knee.

      I am really undecided. Wouldn't say he had an advantage and I am sure he would prefer to have his legs back if given the choice!! But there is a Paralympics for a reason. But if he can make the time then why not?

      Either way he is fking amazing and was well impressed with the winner when they swapped racing numbers. Nice touch.
