Im guessing neither of you are Physics majors and with the current laws of Physics and with all the current knowledge we have at this point in time, it is impossible to ever travel through time; it is only theorized that one may travel FORWARD in time if the speed of light may be reached, which it cannot presently. Traveling backwards in time will always be impossible.

Just a small note from a collegiate student with a Major in Aerospace Eng and two completed Minors: Advanced Mathetmatics and Physics

I wasn't giving him advice, I was telling that it's a technical possibility, as is time travel.

Find me the time travel equation, because until you have done it, it is not possible. And that is a law of science.

You obviously don't know that a worm hole (hole in the four dimensional fabric of spacetime) can transport you not only through large lengths of space, but since it is a fold in spacetime it can also travel you through time, backwards and forwards.

Actually time travel has already been achieved, a russian astronaut spent years in space which ultimately left him around a .003 seconds younger than when he left.

Thats not bending time itself, the bending the space between two objects, altering the time required. If you are going to argue that shorting a distance to change how long it takes to get somewhere is time travel, then you are wrong. That is closer to teleportation in which the time remains its current holding yet the object has moved to a different location.

Time travel by definition: Object stays still, time changes (but may only move FORWARD)

As for your comment about the Russians, find me his name; oh and if you know anything about the history of space -- the Russians are Cosmonauts.

It's a bend is spacetime, not only space, you might travel back in time and you might travel forward, you do realize our universe is four dimensional right? The fourth dimension being time.
