increased mass, easier to cut, increased metabolism

eat 100-200 calories over your maintenance

unless you want to fulk, then just eat a **** load and try to set PRs everytime in the gym

It's really easier to cut when after your done bulking. And wouldn't eating over my maintenance make me fat sorry for the newbie question just trying to learn.

It's easier because you can cut at a higher calorie count since you have added mass vs having to start your cut at a lower calorie count due to lack of mass.

Fat gain cannot be avoided but it can be minimized. Without eating over maintenance, you won't be able to add muscle. I recommend heading over to the nutrition section. Great, great information there, especially in the stickies.

Oh okay i understand i should eat either 100 or 200 over my maintenance and ill start to get bigger what weight would you recommend for me i'm like 158 at the moment when would be a good time to cut. And i see bulking requires eating more thus gaining some fat/muscle and when i reach a desired wait cut down on on calories and workout and ill start to see bigger muscle and good muscle gains.

While it's good to have a weight goal, I like to go by the mirror better. Once you get to a size where you think you would look decent when you cut, then that's when you stop.
