Long story short I am taking a trip home in 3 weeks time. Had some health issues earlier in the year so dieted and lost a lot of weight. Parents were really happy etc. However the weight has crept back up a bit through bad diet but I am carrying a shed load of water which is making me look very fat and bloated again . I know this will upset my mother. I was wondering if there is anything I could use in the week leading up to the trip to strip the water away. Dont want to run AIs for long periods and Im aware they can take a while to work. Can they be blasted? Is there something else I could use in the week before it either. Perhaps a mild diueretic? I know its sounds like a bad idea in this situation but I cant have my mum moaning all weekend about how much weight I have gained! Any input would be good
Removing water quickly celery works very well, with high dose vit c and lots of water and low sodium diet ive found this to start working almost instantly
Removing water quickly I use vitC green tea and dandilion extract, remember to drink plenty of water and keep salt intake low....
Removing water quickly I was thinking about that actually. I have some furosemide kicking around but that might be too harsh? What dosage of aldactone would you recommend and for how long? never run a diuretic other than Aquaban. Is Aldactone likely to cause dehydration? normally trips to Northern Ireland involve lots of drinking so can't risk serious dehydration.
Removing water quickly I think with deca bloat is inevitable regardless of diet, salt potassium etc! Will get some vit C powder as a few people recommend that
Removing water quickly Live on green veg and protein, no carbs, low salt, for the week, you'll be ****ing for England. ( peeing)
