So when doing IF( intermittent fasting) doing a basic 8 hour eating window 16hour fasting period. I train around 5.30/6PM should you train fasted? As I work 9/5 so was going to start the close the fast at 1.00PM with my first meal another aroun 4/5 then last meal at 8 but then I'd be traning on a full stomach? How does this work?

I know this is covered on the LG website, over and over and over again.

      Question on IF

      Few options:

Train before you go work fasted.

      Train fasted at 5.30pm.

Break your fast and have a pre-workout meal.

It really doesn't matter, just do what works best for you.

      Question on IF

The fasting window and workout time are not interdependent. Train fasted or not, based on convenience and preference.

      Question on IF

Of course not. The way you want to do it is within the IF guidelines. Irganize your meals in a way that you do not go to the training on full stomach nor starved and make the post workout meal the largest one. Also if you turn 8h window to 9h window due to convenience, its ok.

      Question on IF

If you turn the 8hour window into a 16hour window it works just as well.

      Question on IF

Any chance someone with a typical 9/5 job that trains after work can post there IF schedule up? Cheers

I'm in college 9am-4pm, train at 5pm, then work at 8pm. I eat before training.
