      What do you normally think when you see a guy in his late teens/early 20's who thinks he's tough because he can deadlift 315 with bad form and has visible abs?

      Yes, at the age of 36 you magically attain old man strength.

      Question for guys 35+ who lift:

      Saw a young guy pulling 405 in the gym the other day, was maybe 20, 190 lbs and got it for 4 reps.

      Threw the weight down like he just created Heaven and Earth and that better be good enough for us mortals. Thing is, I'm 45, weigh 20 lbs less and can also pick up 405.

      Next time I'll ask him if I can see his abs OP, in order to better answer your question.

      Question for guys 35+ who lift:

      Honestly... anytime I see young guys/girls training I am happy for them. If they are excited about their six pack or lifting 315lbs that's great. Better than having one hand in a bag of chips and the other one on the remote.
