      Well I guess it really depends on what your goals are, for me its to bulk.. so not counting them allows me to eat more.

      I have no degree in nutrition, and im really just taking a stab in the dark at this with a common sense approach....

      There are X amounts of amino acids (21-24 I think), and all proteins are made up from them, regardless of plant or animal sources. They SHOULD be the same, unless protein and amino acids change magically if not in a cow or chicken.

      Go to www.nutritiondata.com and look at the amino acid profile of, lets say wild rice. I can't check right now, but I believe in the expanded amino profile view, you'll see that all the protein comes from the same acids as meat sources.

      Also, I believe the body will "pool" incomplete aminos, and most often a well balanced meal will have enough varied incomplete acids to form complete acids. At least that's what my schools nutrition class preached.
