quick question, a google search didnt yeald an answer.... My house mate has managed to leave a jerry can in the house without the top on all day so now the whole house stink of petrol fumes, we have the doors open etc but what are the dangers of inhaling the fumes while I sleep (its bedtime for me in oz now)??? PEZ
petrol fumes Just keep it well ventilated. Shouldn't do too much damage as long as you're not striking any matches etc! People used to sniff petrol to get high back in the day, but won't do much damage. It's the by-products of combustion that cause the damage rather than the fumes off petrol itself.
petrol fumes hes thick as fcuk mate, filled up his bike tank and then just left the thing in the lounge....idiot.
petrol fumes I'd definitely make sure to keep the place well ventilated until the smell of fumes has gone though pal. Just to give you some idea of the mentality of the people round my way, I know a lad that used to inhale petrol fumes leaning over a big barrel of the stuff, one of his 'mates' decided it would be funny to chuck a match into the barrel as he was over it, he suffered serious burns as the fumes ignited, still scarred to fcuk and this was 15-20yrs ago.
petrol fumes Open the jerry can back up. Lure kangeroos, Dingoes, Koalas and Wombats to your house. Trap them by shutting all doors and windows. Light match and throw in. Instant barbecue © courtesy of and copyrighted by madmuscles.com 1999.
